New feature: Cluster Value Map Overlay will be delayed ----Post Updated Jan 24------

4. August 2022 - written by dkp at 05:15 • 0 Comments
Hello everyone! The release of the new map overlay for cluster values will be delayed. After reviewing the feature's current state with live data we realized that it doesn't yet fulfill its purpose and needs some more work which will delay its release until January '22. This will allow us to get it into a state in which it will become an actual asset to everyone playing the game. Unfortunately we had to delay the release of the feature again because we still need to collect some more data before it can actually go live. We're making progress on the development and are confident that the release is not far off, it will not be part of patch 4 though. It is planned to go live with one of the upcoming patches after patch 4. Thank you all for your patience and sorry for the wait! If you want to know more about this new feature, check out the designated Forum Post about World Map Overlays. kind regards, Nesnes & Dev team

Then simply: Go to albiononline.com/twitchMake sure you’re logged in with the Albion Online account you want to receive Twitch Drops onClick “LOGIN WITH TWITCH” to be redirected to TwitchMake sure you’re logged in to the Twitch account through which you want to redeem Twitch DropsClick “Authorize”You’ll then be redirected back to the official Albion Online websiteNow you’re all set and ready to receive Twitch Drops. How the Rewards are Delivered NOTE: After you've earned a Twitch Drop, it must first be claimed on Twitch, and will then be claimable ingame. Twitch Drops will come in the form of Community Chests. These are in-game items of different rarity levels containing permanent skin unlocks, Victory Emote charges and Community Tokens. Every chest can contain each type of item. Common Chests give you either a wardrobe unlock, 5 vanity kill charges or 5 Community Tokens.Rare Chests are guaranteed to give a skin unlock, plus either Vanity Kill Charges or Community Tokens.Epic Chests contain a Tier 5+ skin item plus another, randomly chosen skin item and up to 10 Vanity Kill charges or 10 Community Tokens.Legendary Chests not only guarantee a T5+ skin item but also an additional skin unlock item. Furthermore there is a chance for a third skin item, and up to 10 Victory Emote Charges or up to 10 Community Tokens. While you will never open an empty chest, there is a chance that you’ll receive an item you already have. These include all members of the Albion Online Creators Program as well as other streamers affiliated with Albion Online. They come in different tiers of increasing rarity, with each tier being five times more likely to be dropped than the next tier up. So T4 drops are five times more likely than T5, which are five times more likely than T6, and so on. While most skins are also purchasable with Gold, others will be exclusively available from Twitch Drops.Victory Emotes allow you to celebrate kills with cool audiovisual effects. You collect Victory Emote Charges, and then each kill will consume a charge and deploy a Victory Emote. Similar to skin items, Victory Emotes have different rarity levels.Community Tokens act as crafting ingredients for the other rewards. If you were hoping to open a certain reward, but find yourself out of luck, they allow you to craft the items you want instead.Any Twitch Drop reward can also be salvaged for its tokens. In this case, you can salvage your unwanted item into Community Tokens (more on this below). Participating Streams Twitch Drop campaigns will be offered to specific content creators only. These include all members of the Albion Online Creators Program as well as other streamers affiliated with Albion Online. To find out which streams are offering Twitch Drops you can filter your search on Twitch for the Tag “Drops Enabled”. The Rewards Community chests offer a variety of rewards, such as Vanity Wardrobe and Mount skin unlocks, Victory Emote charges and Community Tokens: Skin unlock items will permanently give you a specific wardrobe or mount skin. Salvaging can be done either at a Repair Station or an Artifact Foundry in one of Albion’s Cities. If one of your characters has an active premium subscription, they will receive one additional tradable (non-salvagable) Victory Emote charge in a chest. Hello all, Alongside Into the Fray we’re excited to announce the launch of our new weekly Twitch Drop campaigns. Starting June 8, players watching official Albion Online Content Creators on Twitch will be able to earn special rewards, such as permanent wardrobe and mount skins, or our new Victory Emote charges. Twitch Drops are an easy way to claim awesome loot just by watching streamers on Twitch. You can track your progress towards these rewards via the progress bar on your Twitch profile. Once you’ve earned rewards, you can claim them as long as you’ve linked your Albion Online and Twitch accounts. How to Link your Accounts In order to receive Twitch Drops and have them delivered you will need a Twitch account as well as an Albion Online account. Salvaging can be done either at a Repair Station or an Artifact Foundry in one of Albion’s Cities. If one of your characters has an active premium subscription, they will receive one additional tradable (non-salvagable) Victory Emote charge in a chest. Changes regarding the claiming of Twitch Drops

15. July 2022 - written by dkp at 09:53 • 0 Comments
Hi everyone, With the anniversary stream event coming up, we want to address the ability to claim Twitch Drops from multiple Twitch accounts with one Albion account. This will now no longer be possible. As of today, each Albion account can earn each reward only once per drop campaign. Furthermore, if you claim a reward from a campaign that ended over 14 days ago, we cannot guarantee that you will receive it. Therefore if you want to make sure you receive your rewards, we advise you not to stockpile them! You will still be able to earn the four common community chests from weekly campaigns. Thanks and we hope to see you for the anniversary stream on Friday!

Details about the Extraordinary Maintenance and Consequences for Abusing Exploits

7. July 2022 - written by dkp at 04:58 • 0 Comments
Hello everyone, During today's early downtime, we identified and resolved an issue with Patch 2 that introduced a bug, whereby a handful of players generated more silver than they should have otherwise been able to. Fortunately, this was reported and caught early so no damage was caused to the game’s economy. The player that reported the bug to us upon discovery will receive a reward from us as thanks for helping to catch the bug. The handful of players that were found to have exploited this bug have had the silver generated removed from their accounts, and players who abused the bug have been banned either temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity of the abuse and the amount of silver that was fraudulently obtained. As already clarified in prior situations, we cannot tolerate the abuse of bugs. Exploiting this bug is considered a breach of our Terms & Conditions under section 15.5.4: “Compelling reasons include for example (without limitation): If the User is engaged in cheating, use of bots, financial fraud or severe abuse of bugs.” For clarification: simply using silver bags did not activate this bug, and no one has been punished simply for opening bags. Punishment has only been handed out to people who purposefully abused the bug to gain MORE silver than what their silver bags should have been worth. We apologize for the unexpected maintenance that was necessary to deal with this issue quickly. Sincerely, Nesnes & Dev Team

Twitch Drops: What They Are and How They Work

6. July 2022 - written by dkp at 08:10 • 0 Comments
Salvaging can be done either at a Repair Station or an Artifact Foundry in one of Albion’s Cities. If one of your characters has an active premium subscription, they will receive one additional tradable (non-salvagable) Victory Emote charge in a chest. Crafting from Community Tokens is done at the Vanity Merchant in the Community tab. Twitch Drops: What They Are and How They Work

25. June 2022 - written by dkp at 17:00 • 0 Comments
Salvaging can be done either at a Repair Station or an Artifact Foundry in one of Albion’s Cities. If one of your characters has an active premium subscription, Victory Emote charges from a premium chest will be tradable rather than salvageable. Crafting from Community Tokens is done at the Vanity Merchant in the Community tab. The Weekly Drops forum.albiononline.com/index.p…2ef10565d255b5d4e69d0a916 Drop 1: Common Chest after 15 minutesDrop 2: Rare Chest after 4 additional hoursDrop 3: Common Chest after 4 additional hoursDrop 4: Epic Chest after 4 additional hoursDrop 5: Common Chest after 4 additional hoursDrop 6: Common Chest after 4 additional hoursDrop 7: Legendary Chest after 4 additional hoursIn total, each week you can receive up to 4 Common and one of each of Rare, Epic and Legendary Community chests with a total watch time of 24 hours and 15 minutes. Salvaging can be done either at a Repair Station or an Artifact Foundry in one of Albion’s Cities. If one of your characters has an active premium subscription, Victory Emote charges from a premium chest will be tradable rather than salvageable. World Map Overlays with Lands Awakened Launch

21. June 2022 - written by dkp at 07:11 • 0 Comments
forum.albiononline.com/index.p…c81a568e1fe6be5e175d04fdc Hi all, The Lands Awakened update, launching on November 24, brings two new overlay options for the world map, which can be applied via the dropdown menu at the upper right: - An overlay showing relative Resource Value of each zone, for the resource and tier selected - An overlay showing relative Silver Value of the mobs in each zone Since these overlays are based on a zone's relative value, they require several days' worth of data to display meaningful results. Therefore, in order to calibrate these overlays, they will not be available immediately with the Lands Awakened launch, and will be activated several days later. We expect this to take place within at most 7 days of the launch (1 December at the latest), and hopefully sooner. We will update this post if the launch of these overlays needs to be delayed further than 1 week. UPDATE: This feature is being refined further and will now be launched in January 2022. New feature: Cluster Value Map Overlay will be delayed

Consequences for Exploiting the Fame-Distribution Bug

20. June 2022 - written by dkp at 07:31 • 0 Comments
Dear Players, As you might know, there was a bug regarding the distribution of Fame progress on the Destiny Board last Thursday, which was fixed with a Hotfix 4 hours after it went live. (link here: forum.albiononline.com/index.p…ribution-Bug-Consequences) Due to that, today at maintenance we have set back the Destiny Board for 500+ players who have heavily exploited this bug. This mainly includes players using a massive amount of Tomes of Insight, but also some crafters that created excessive numbers of items for affected nodes. During maintenance today, the Destiny Boards of these players were migrated back to the status at Thursday's downtime. This means that, for affected players, any Fame gained since Thursday has been lost. More specifically, affected players have their Destiny Board progress and Fame Credits reset to the state these were in at maintenance on Thursday 9 June. Any Learning Points spent since that point are reset. Learning Points earned since Thursday will still be retained. We would like to keep reminding players that we cannot tolerate the abuse of bugs. Exploiting this bug is considered a breach of our Terms & Conditions under section 15.5.4: Compelling reasons include for example (without limitation): If the User is engaged in cheating, use of bots, financial fraud or severe abuse of bugs. For that reason, any loss of progress, including the tomes or materials these players have spent in the process, is considered part of the punishment and will not be reimbursed. Sincerely, Nesnes & Dev Team

Twitch Drops: What They Are and How They Work

16. June 2022 - written by dkp at 17:13 • 0 Comments
Consequences for Exploiting the Fame-Distribution Bug

16. June 2022 - written by dkp at 07:26 • 0 Comments
