Guild Season Wrapup: 19 West / 1 East
Source: https://forum.albiononline.com/index.php/Thread/182163-Guild-Season-Wrapup-19-West-1-East/The dust has settled on another Guild Season - and for the first time in Albion's history, this one played out as two dual full seasons on Albion's two servers. Congrats to Albion West winners Paura and Albion East winners Fr Bailand! Read on for a summary of how these seasons unfolded on each server, and see the top-ten ranking for each at the end of this article. (Thanks to @Robinhoodrs for the season summaries below.) Albion West: Newcomers Take the Crown As Season 19 started out, not much had changed from the end of Season 18. The wars that engulfed the Outlands were still raging as IXXXI coalition battled the TERRA coalition in the south. Paura declared they would claim the number-one spot in Season 19, and with this being their last season, they also wanted to break the record held by Blue Army for most season points gained. This required a push from them in all content from the 5v5 and 20v20 Crystal Leagues, to Castle warfare and Territory battles.
Though at the start there was a battle for the number one spot as Overseas Chinese Headquarters were also pushing, with a close race between the two until a month into the Season, eventually OCH bowed out and ceded the top spot. As Season 19 came to an end, wars of many seasons were still raging, guilds diisbanded and alliances crumbled, but as always, new guilds and alliances have been forming for the start of Albion's next season. Albion East: The First Full Season The Albion East Beta Season ran from February 20 to March 13, allowing guilds with beta access to compete in a unique shorter season. Ultimately, SIAM proved their might, besting all other guilds in a three-week race to the top. With the full launch of Albion East, the first (nearly) full-length season was underway. With the start of a whole new server came whole new guilds and alliances and the battles for control of the Outlands in Albion Online. With wars popping up all over the Outlands, there was one guild that was quietly tucked away, slowly building their guild economy and growing their forces for battle: Fr Bailand. Holding onto the Old White spawns for the mammoth cub market, they were able to be the first guild to have a Command Mammoth on the battlefield, albeit the first to have two fall in battle as well.
As wars raged around them, they focused on their goal: the first post-beta season title on Albion East. And so they massed for Castles, raided mages, and battled it out in the Crystal League. It wasn't all smooth sailing, as backstabbing and betrayal took place between the other high-ranking guilds, leading into a potential all-out war going into Season 2. Check out last weekend's East War Report on AlbionTV here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1836629582?t=00h34m16 Looking Ahead & Top Tens Next up this weekend is the Crystal League Championship, with one day each for Albion East (on June 10 and Albion West (on June 11). Any drops that have been claimed on Twitch are then claimable ingame for 60 days. Twitch Drops will come in the form of Community Chests. These are in-game items of different rarity levels containing permanent skin unlocks, Victory Emote charges and Community Tokens. Every chest can contain each type of item. Common Chests give you either a wardrobe unlock, 5 vanity kill charges or 5 Community Tokens.Rare Chests are guaranteed to give a skin unlock, plus either Vanity Kill Charges or Community Tokens.Epic Chests contain a Tier 5+ skin item plus another, randomly chosen skin item and up to 10 Vanity Kill charges or 10 Community Tokens.Legendary Chests not only guarantee a T5+ skin item but also an additional skin unlock item. Specific times will be provided to the participants prior to each match.Teams should be prepared to play matches back-to-back if required.Teams will be playing in a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three matches (BO3).Timeline: Qualifying teams will be announced on Monday, June 5thOnce teams have been announced, they must send the following information to @Emii within 24h 1. No further changes are allowed after that. We will select 8 teams to participate in the Championship for each server, which means 4 teams from the Lethal league, and 4 teams from the Non-lethal. We believe that it is not fair for teams to qualify for the CLC by only playing during the last week and winning a single level 9 match, over those that have actively played throughout the whole season. With that in mind, we have created a points system that will hopefully give everyone an equal chance of qualifying. Furthermore, no-shows will count the same as full wins within this system. Level 5 = 5 pointsLevel 6 = 10 pointsLevel 7 = 20 pointsLevel 8 = 40 pointsLevel 9 = 80 pointsIn addition: Wins will be counted based on teams with at least 4 consistent characters.Players cannot switch teams and try to qualify for the Championship with multiple teams.Players cannot qualify for both the East and West server CLC.RULES General rules Each team must assign a Captain to be the main point of contact between the Championship organizers, Game Masters, and the team. Each team can allocate one substitute in addition to the five team members for the entire ChampionshipAll matches must be initiated via the Private Island located in Fort SterlingTeams should only sign up for the match slots to which they have been assigned by the Championship organizers and/or Game Masters.Use of exploits and/or glitches is not allowed in the Championship. Each team must act in the spirit of sportsmanship and work towards its own victory in all matches; if anyone is suspected of violating this (for instance, by colluding and/or intentionally not competing) they will be penalizedEach team must send in their respective information at the required time. If the team fails to do so, they may be disqualified from the tournament and replaced with a substitute team.Rules for qualification A Player counts as "qualified" if the following criteria are met: The player must use the same account that played in the qualifying Season 19 (West) / Season 1 (East) Crystal League matches. The player can only qualify for the tournament once through either the Lethal or Non-lethal format. The participating account has won at least two level 5 matches or a single level 6+ match in either the Lethal or Non-lethal 5v5 crystals in the current or previous season.Participating with two or more characters that belong to the same player is prohibited – this also includes joining other participating teams via a different character.A team counts as qualified if the following criteria are met: The team consists of five qualified players, at least three of whom must have qualified with the same team during Season 19The team has handed in their team info at the required date and timeThe team is not using a Name, Icon, Character names, Guild names, or Alliance names that would go against Albion's Terms and ConditionsRules for Matches and Breaks Each team must be ready to start the match at the time that is given to them by the Game Master or Championship OrganizerNatural Breaks between matches will always be at least 5 minutes, however, the actual time of the match will be given by the respective GM responsible for the teamIf a team needs to take more time between matches, they may request it, however, this will only be granted two times to each team during the championshipA requested longer break may under no circumstances exceed a limit of 15 minutes. If a sign-up fails due to the members not being signed up, it will count toward the limit of two extended breaks. Exceptions to this rule can be made at the discretion of the championship organizer under special circumstances. If a team exceeds the maximum amount of 15 minutes, does not respond to their GM in time, or has exceeded their limit of two sign-up fails, the match will be forfeited, giving one win to the opposing team. All rules are subject to the discretion of the championship organizer. Under special circumstances exceptions may be made, but teams are not entitled to them.Substitute rules The substitute can be used in all matches. If a team decides to use its substitute in a match, the Captain should indicate this to the Game Master they are allocated to prior to the specific match.Substitutes for the winning teams will be awarded the same prizes as their team members.Changes to substitutes can be made up to 72 hours (three days) before the Championship starts. No further changes, for any reason, are allowed after that.A team loses their option for a substitute when two out of five players from their qualified roster need to be replaced. The Rewards Community chests offer a variety of rewards, such as Vanity Wardrobe and Mount skin unlocks, Victory Emote charges and Community Tokens: Skin unlock items will permanently give you a specific wardrobe or mount skin. They come in different tiers of increasing rarity, with each tier being five times more likely to be dropped than the next tier up. So T4 drops are five times more likely than T5, which are five times more likely than T6, and so on. While most skins are also purchasable with Gold, others will be exclusively available from Twitch Drops.Victory Emotes allow you to celebrate kills with cool audiovisual effects. You collect Victory Emote Charges, and then each kill will consume a charge and deploy a Victory Emote. Similar to skin items, Victory Emotes have different rarity levels.Community Tokens act as crafting ingredients for the other rewards. If you were hoping to open a certain reward, but find yourself out of luck, they allow you to craft the items you want instead.Any Twitch Drop reward can also be salvaged for its tokens. Salvaging can be done either at a Repair Station or an Artifact Foundry in one of Albion’s Cities. If one of your characters has an active premium subscription, they will receive one additional tradable (non-salvagable) Victory Emote charge in a chest.
